The Sussex Breast Clinic is dedicated to minimising our patients anxiety. Our caring, highly experienced, multi-disciplinary professional team is available every weekday, so appointments can be usually be offered within 24 hours sometimes even the same day.

Relaxed and friendly premises

The Breast Clinics held in our relaxed and friendly premises, are designed to lead to a rapid yet accurate diagnosis.

Following expert physical examination the onsite X-Ray and Imaging Centre offers facilities for full field digital mammography, general x-ray, ultrasound imaging, as well as fine needle aspiration cytology and core biopsy.

MRI scanning can be undertaken at partner facilities with reporting by The Sussex Breast Clinic team members.

A multi-disciplinary team

This multi-disciplinary team comprising consultant surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, nurses and other experienced health professionals, offers the best possible assessment of benign and malignant breast disease in the shortest possible time all on one site.

Discussing your treatment

Once diagnosis has been confirmed appropriate treatment can be recommended. This appropriate treatment is discussed and agreed with the patient, it can be either surgical intervention or the ongoing management of the condition.

Such treatment may include surgery to remove diseased tissue, breast reconstruction, radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy which as appropriate will be carried out at our partner hospitals, while other treatments will be provided at the clinic.

One Stop Day Surgery Centre

Our One Stop Day Surgery Centre provides same day consultation, diagnosis and minor operation under local anaesthetic.
